The Caliber Jets Co-Ownership program provides the most cost effective turn key alternative for private jet travel in the industry. Caliber Jets employs only the best Flight Safety trained and certified flight crews, and with a management team dedicated to complete owner satisfaction.
Caliber Jets contracts with FAA certified mechanics for routine maintenance and inspections, with produces significant cost savings. To reduce potential downtime and increase safety, we use computer maintenance based programs (CAMPS).
Caliber Jets manages all aspects of aircraft ownership and operations, with each owner paying their share of costs as follows:
- Fixed costs pro-rata according to ownership percentage (i.e. salaried pilots, insurance, hangar, nav charts, etc).
- Variable costs when they fly (fuel, engine insurance, maintenance and scheduling conflict reserves)
- Maintenance Reserves - is paid with each flight hour into a reserve account, so that long term scheduled maintenance is paid as you go versus large spikes in costs when incurred.
- Scheduling Conflict Reserves - is a mechanism by which the co-owners deposit with Caliber Jets an initial scheduling conflict reserve pool, and then an hourly additional amount for each flight hour flown. Should an irreconcilable scheduling conflict arise between the co-owners of the aircraft, Caliber Jets would arrange a charter of a like kind aircraft for the owners use. The owner flying the charter flight pays what they would have paid had they flown their aircraft, with the difference being borne by their reserve pool.

flight crew personnel.

Caliber Jets leverages its buying power to offer substantial savings to its clients in all aspects of aircraft operations, including fleet insurance and discounted fuel programs. Also in contrast to fractional or charter programs, there are no Federal Excise tax triggers for operation of the aircraft under the Caliber Jet program.
- Owners Monthly Account Summary Statement
Through our proprietary accounting system each owner receives a complete detailed monthly summary of their flight activity and actual costs incurred (including supporting documentation and receipts).
